Barcelona came out for the second half with the same intensity that had characterised their opening 45 minutes. Lopez sprinted almost the entire length of the attacking half before creating the opportunity for Raphinha, who tapped the ball into an empty net.
The goal was Raphinha’s sixth of the season and his 50th in the Spanish top flight, marking another significant milestone for the Brazilian forward.
Barcelona’s ability to turn promising situations into goals has been one of the defining features of their campaign so far, and Valencia simply could not cope with the sustained pressure.
