At Stamford Bridge, Arsenal were pegged back to a 1–1 draw by a resilient Chelsea — even after the hosts were reduced to 10 men when Moises Caicedo was sent off in the 38th minute for a dangerous tackle.
Shortly after half-time, Chelsea took the lead via a header from Trevoh Chalobah from a corner.
Gunners eventually equalised in the 59th minute when Mikel Merino met a cross from Bukayo Saka to head in the leveller — but despite the numerical advantage, the Gunners couldn’t find a winner.
The draw leaves the Gunners still top of the table, five points clear of second place.
