Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has urged his side to deliver once again when they face Chelsea F.C. this weekend, warning that their six-point lead atop the league is no cause for complacency.
After a convincing 4–1 win over local rivals Tottenham Hotspur and a strong mid-week result against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Arsenal are riding high — but Arteta says it’s crucial to match those performances at Stamford Bridge.
He acknowledged that Chelsea — currently on a three-game winning streak themselves — are very much contenders: “They fully deserve to be considered title rivals,” he said, praising the Blues’ quality, squad depth and recent resurgence.
Arteta added that the challenge ahead is real and that his players must deliver with consistency and focus: “We know the challenge and the opportunity we have. We are fully ready for it.”
