The Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament bracket is officially set, with the Spartans receiving an opening round bye.
Michigan State has landed as the No. 6 seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament that tips off later this week. The Spartans will play their first game on Thursday at approximately 9 p.m. ET against the winner of No. 11 seed Iowa and No. 14 seed Wisconsin. That game between the Hawkeyes and Badgers will take place on Wednesday at approximately 8:30 p.m. ET.
The Spartans finished the regular season with an overall record of 21-8 and a conference record of 11-7. Michigan State has been ranked for most of the season, and appears to be a lock to return to the NCAA Tournament this season.
