Conor Benn put on a commanding performance to defeat Chris Eubank Jr. by unanimous decision in their highly anticipated middleweight rematch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
Benn, seeking revenge after losing their first fight earlier this year, dominated all 12 rounds. He set the tempo early, slipping under Eubank’s jab to deliver punishing combinations, then maintained a blistering pace for the full fight. His footwork allowed him to control distance and angle, minimizing the impact of Eubank’s reach and height.
As the fight progressed, Benn sensed his opponent tiring. In the seventh round he landed a series of sharp body shots, further wearing Eubank down. By the final round, Benn put the contest out of reach — he dropped Eubank twice in the 12th with devastating power before the bell sounded.
The judges rewarded Benn’s superiority with lopsided scorecards of 119-107, 116-110, and 118-108. After the fight, he declared the long-running Benn–Eubank rivalry “done. Finished.”
Eubank Jr acknowledged Benn’s performance and his toughness, but admitted he “has nothing left” in him right now. For Benn, the victory is a milestone — not only personal redemption, but a statement that he has sharpened his boxing skills into a genuinely elite-level weapon.
