In a dramatic conclusion to the CONCACAF qualifying campaign, Curaçao, Haiti, and Panama have all clinched direct qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
- Curaçao made history by becoming the smallest country ever, by population, to qualify for a World Cup. The Dutch Caribbean island held Jamaica to a 0-0 draw in Kingston, finishing top of their group with 12 points.
- Haiti, back in the finals for the first time since 1974, secured their spot with a 2–0 win over Nicaragua, though they played their “home” qualifiers in Curaçao due to unrest in their own country.
- Panama sealed their qualification with a commanding 3–0 home win over El Salvador, finishing as winners of their final-round group.
This is a landmark moment for CONCACAF, as all three nations will lead their region into one of the most expanded World Cups in history.
