Georgia Bulldogs basketball has NCAA Tournament bubble clash with Texas

by

The Georgia Bulldogs basketball team has a critical road game on Saturday against the Texas Longhorns. Georgia is coming off a massive home upset over the No. 3 Florida Gators, but Georgia still has some work do if it wants to make the NCAA Tournament.

According to ESPN’s latest Bracketology, Georgia is the first team out of the NCAA Tournament despite having a trio of fantastic wins over Kentucky, Florida and St. John’s. Georgia is 17-11 this season, but is only 5-10 in conference play and has really struggled to win on the road. Similarly, Texas is 16-10 and 5-10 in SEC play. Both teams have won just one of their last five games, but are looking forward to this game.

The Georgia at Texas game is at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 1. The game will be televised on ESPN2. Georgia has a 30.5% chance to win according to ESPN’s matchup predictor.

Georgia bulldogs road win this season

Georgia basketball and head coach Mike White are still looking for their first conference road win this season. The Dawgs need to change that over the next week as they look to win their final three regular season games ahead of the SEC Tournament.
