Iowa State basketball to be without Keshon Gilbert vs. Kansas State

Iowa State basketball point guard Keshon Gilbert will miss Saturday’s regular-season finale at Kansas State with a groin strain, according to an Iowa State spokesperson.

This will be the third game in the last five that Gilbert will miss with the groin strain. He previously missed games at Houston and Oklahoma State at the end of February before returning to play Arizona and BYU in the last week.

The No. 10 Cyclones were 0-2 in Gilbert’s absence previously.

Gilbert is Iowa State’s second-leading scorer at 13.8 points per game.

Iowa State has lost three of its last four games.
