JOSH ALLEN NFL MVP Josh Allen is now among the highest-paid players in the league after receiving a $330 million contract extension on Sunday, of which $250 million is guaranteed. The new agreement extends Allen’s contract by two years and keeps the 28-year-old in the game through the 2030 season.

NFL MVP Josh Allen is now one of the highest-paid players in the game after receiving a $330 million contract extension.
The Bills declared that Allen will remain with Buffalo through the 2030 campaign under a new contract.
It takes the place of Allen’s prior contract, which was believed to be $330 million ($55 million annually) by ESPN and NFL Network and had four years left on it.

The deal comes with a $250 million guarantee, which is the highest amount ever guaranteed in a league contract.
Allen received the extension after his seventh NFL season, during which he became the third player to win NFL MVP for the Bills and the first since running back Thurman Thomas in 1991.
Allen’s prior contract, a six-year, $258 million agreement he signed with Buffalo in August 2021, is superseded by the current one.
As one of the best quarterbacks in the league, Allen has rewritten almost every team’s passing and scoring records in a single season. By achieving this, he has surmounted the numerous inquiries and critiques he received for being viewed as an undeveloped and imprecise player when Buffalo took him out of Wyoming with the seventh overall pick in the 2018 draft.
Since Hall of Famer Jim Kelly retired after the 1996 season, Buffalo had an unstable position, which he has now cemented. Under Allen, the Bills are on a six-year playoff run and have won five straight AFC East titles.
Allen just needs to make an appearance in the Super Bowl. The Bills lost to Kansas City both last season and in 2020, despite making it to the AFC title game.
