The Philadelphia Flyers flipped forward Andrei Kuzmenko to the Los Angeles Kings at the NHL trade deadline after acquiring him in a deal earlier this season.
The Flyers sent Kuzmenko and a 2025 seventh-round pick to the Kings for a 2027 third-round pick. Philadelphia retains 50% of Kuzmenko’s cap hit, meaning the Kings will only have $2.75 million.
Kuzmenko, 29, had 5 points in 7 games for the Flyers, who acquired him from the Calgary Flames on Jan. 30 in the trade that saw Philadelphia ship out Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost.
The forward has get to recapture the offensive touch he had in this first two seasons with the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames, when he scored 39 and 22 goals respectively.
Overall, he has 6 goals and 14 assists in 44 games this season.
