MSU women’s basketball hangs in Top-25 of last AP poll of the regular season

by

Despite losing three out of their last five games, Michigan State women’s basketball will officially end the regular season as a top-25 in the country, coming in at No. 24 in the latest AP poll.

MSU was able to help themselves with a sizable win over Minnesota to conclude the regular season. It also helped that their three losses came to three of the top teams in the country in USC, UCLA, and Ohio State.

The Spartans will now gear up for a highly anticipated Big Ten Tournament as the Big Ten continues to become a powerhouse in women’s basketball with the recent additions of USC and UCLA into the conference. The Big Ten Tournament will kick off on March 5 in Indianapolis.
