A soccer agent has been arrested after allegedly threatening a young Premier League player with a firearm, British media outlets reported on Monday.
According to the reports, the incident took place on the night of September 6 on a street in North London, where the player—who is in his 20s but whose identity is legally withheld—was confronted by the 31-year-old agent while accompanied by a friend.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed they were called to the scene at 23:14 local time and responded to reports that a man in his 20s had been threatened with a firearm. During their investigation, authorities learned a second man in his 20s was also allegedly targeted by the same individual—this time with threats and blackmail.
