Reactions to Clemson’s scorching hot run, ACC win over Boston College

by

Clemson battled through defensive struggles on Wednesday but locked in when it mattered most, holding Boston College scoreless in the final 5:32 to secure a 78-69 road win.

Jaeden Zackery, returning to Chestnut Hill after transferring from BC, led the Tigers with 21 points, just shy of his career-high. Viktor Lakhin added a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, while Chase Hunter chipped in 18 points.

Clemson started strong, building a 16-point lead late in the first half. But BC fought back, cutting the deficit to three with just over five minutes remaining. That’s when the Tigers clamped down, forcing missed shots and key turnovers to put the game away.

The win ties Clemson’s single-season record with 25 victories and extends its ACC road winning streak to eight games. The Tigers also matched a program-best seven straight ACC wins.

Brad Brownell admitted his team was inconsistent but credited their defense for stepping up late. Now, Clemson turns its focus to Saturday’s regular-season finale against Virginia Tech at Littlejohn Coliseum.

With a big win come reactions. Here’s a look at how social media reacted to Clemson putting together another strong win.
