Oklahoma City Thunder centre Isaiah Hartenstein has been sidelined for at least 10–14 days after suffering a right calf (soleus) strain, the team announced Saturday.

Hartenstein, who had started all 19 games of the 2025-26 campaign for the Oklahoma , was averaging 12.2 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game — a performance that made him a key part of OKC’s early-season 19-1 record.

The injury initially showed up as what the team described as “right ankle soreness,” but further evaluation revealed the soleus strain. As such, Hartenstein did not play in the Thunder’s recent win over the Phoenix Suns.

To cover his absence, OKC is expected to move Chet Holmgren to centre and increase rotation minutes for Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams.

The 10–14-day time frame reflects a re-evaluation window, not a guaranteed return date. Hartenstein’s recovery and return will depend on how he responds to treatment and rehab over the coming days.
