LSU women’s basketball committees Grace Knox and Zakiyah Johnson were named Naismith High All-Americans on Wednesday.
Knox was named to the third team while Johnson earned an honorable mention nod. Both seniors are five-star prospects and part of the Tigers’ 2025 recruiting class. It was ranked No. 1 across multiple outlets.
Johnson, a six-foot-one guard, led her high school team to three Kentucky state championships, won three Gatorade Player of the Year awards and a gold medal with Team USA’s U18 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup team. She averaged over 17 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in each of her three completed prep seasons.
A Las Vegas, NV native, Knox averaged 17.2 points and 11.9 rebounds per game as a junior coming off a season-long injury as a sophomore. After transferring to Etiwanda High School in Los Angeles, she led her team to state and national championships. The six-foot-three forward can make an impact in the paint and on the perimeter.
Divine Bourrage and Bella Hines make up the other half of LSU’s top ranked class. The four will head to Baton Rouge during the summer to begin getting acclimated to the speed of SEC play.
