Today’s top-ranked Notre Dame women’s basketball against No. 12/13 NC State in Raleigh is getting the College GameDay treatment from ESPN, which means Chiney Ogwumike, Andraya Carter and Elle Duncan will be broadcasting live from Reynolds Coliseum before tip-off.
The Atlantic Coast Conference rivalry has been an even one in recent years, with three wins for NC State and three wins for Notre Dame in the last six meetings.
The Irish (24-2, 15-0) have eliminated the Wolfpack (21-5, 13-2) from the last two ACC Tournaments, but the Wolfpack defeated Notre Dame in the Sweet 16 in 2022, then defended their home court in Raleigh the following season. The Irish haven’t won in Reynolds Coliseum since 2019.

Notre Dame is coming off an 82-42 thumping of Miami in Coral Gables on Thursday, while NC State recorded an 83-68 victory over Georgia Tech.
Notre Dame has four players averaging in double figures, led by sophomore Hannah Hidalgo (24.6 points per game), Olivia Miles (16.6), Sonia Citron (13.8) and Liatu King (11.6). King also averages 10.7 rebounds and had her 10th double-double of the season Thursday. The Irish are averaging 86.5 points and outscoring their opponents by nearly 27 points per game.
The Wolfpack also have four players averaging in double figures, led by guard Aziaha James (17.7 ppg), Zoe Brooks (13.5), Saniya Rivers (12.2) and Madison Hayes (10.8). NC State is averaging 77.2 points and outscoring its opponents by 12 points.
