Eze’s Derby Hat-Trick Sends Arsenal Six Points Clear

Eberechi Eze stole the spotlight in the north London derby, firing Arsenal to a commanding 4–1 win over Tottenham Hotspur and increasing their lead at the top of the Premier League to six points.

Arsenal opened the scoring through Leandro Trossard, before Eze struck just before half-time with a curling finish after receiving a pass from Declan Rice.

He made it 2–0 within seconds of the second half, exploiting Tottenham’s defensive frailties with a composed finish.

Tottenham briefly responded in the 55th minute with a spectacular long-range lob from Richarlison, but that was their only true threat.

Eberechi sealed his hat-trick in the 76th minute with a confident low strike after being set up by Trossard, putting the result beyond doubt.

The performance was especially sweet given Eberechi summer transfer saga, in which Tottenham reportedly tried to sign him before Arsenal swooped in.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta lavished praise on Eze, saying his impact gives the squad a new “aura.”

With the win, Arsenal remain unbeaten in nine league matches and now sit on 29 points from 12 games, while Tottenham drop to ninth with 18 points.
