Olise’s hattrick completes Bayern’s demolition
While Kane’s record dominated the headlines, Olise’s hattrick provided the most spectacular individual performance of the evening.
The Frenchman scored his first of the night just two minutes before half-time, wrapping his left foot around the ball from the edge of the penalty area and finding the net with a superb finish.
Kane then doubled his personal tally in the 54th minute, heading Olise’s excellent cross beyond Union Berlin goalkeeper Frederik Ronnow.
The goal was Kane’s 101st in the Bundesliga and took his total for Bayern to 152 goals in 154 appearances across all competitions since joining the club in 2023.
Bayern continued to attack despite holding a commanding lead, and Saibari made it 5-0 in the 70th minute. The summer signing from PSV produced an impressive finish for his first goal in a Bayern shirt.
Olise then took center stage once again. First, he rounded Ronnow before seeing his effort go in off the post, giving him his second goal of the match.
Only three minutes later, he produced an even better finish, striking another left-footed effort from distance to complete his hat-trick and send the home supporters into celebration.
His three goals ensured that Bayern’s victory ended with a remarkable individual display to match the team’s dominance.
Kane’s numbers continue to astonish
Kane’s record-breaking performance is another chapter in a remarkable scoring run since his move to Germany. The England captain now has 101 Bundesliga goals and 152 goals in 154 appearances across all competitions for Bayern.
He also has an impressive record against Union Berlin, having scored seven goals in seven matches against them. Only Stuttgart have conceded more goals to Kane, with the striker scoring 10 times in seven games against them.
His numbers from last season were even more remarkable. Kane scored 61 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions for Vincent Kompany’s side, and he has already found the net six times in seven games this campaign.
That consistency has placed him among the leading contenders for the Ballon d’Or, which will be awarded in London on 26 October.
Kane has also set his sights on reaching 200 goals across all competitions during the current campaign if he can reproduce the standards of previous seasons.

The victory extended Bayern’s unbeaten start and demonstrated the attacking depth available to Kompany.
Musiala provided the early spark, Kane combined another record with two goals and Olise produced the outstanding individual display, while Saibari also opened his Bayern account.
