Bournemouth climbed to second place in the Premier League after an exhilarating 3-1 comeback win over Fulham at the Vitality Stadium, fueled by stunning goals from Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert.

Fulham had appeared to be on course for a rare away victory when Ryan Sessegnon broke the deadlock in the 70th minute with a composed finish. But Bournemouth responded almost immediately. Semenyo produced a moment of brilliance, dribbling from the left, cutting in, and slotting a shot past Fulham keeper Bernd Leno from a tight angle.

Substitute Justin Kluivert then seized the moment in the 84th minute, unleashing a dipping long-range strike that left Leno rooted to the spot. With time running out, Semenyo completed the turnaround in stoppage time, driving home a counterattack finish to seal the three points.

The result lifted Bournemouth to 14 points from seven games — just one point behind leaders Liverpool. For Semenyo, it marked another key performance: he now has six league goals this season, trailing only Erling Haaland in the scoring charts.

The win also underscored the influence of manager Andoni Iraola, whose side looked transformed in the second half. Despite the rain and windy conditions making the first half scrappy, Bournemouth asserted dominance after halftime. Kluivert praised Iraola’s leadership, calling tonight’s result a “big statement” and highlighting the squad’s upward mentality.

Fulham, suffering back-to-back defeats, drop to 11th on eight points. Their lead had threatened to shift momentum, but Bournemouth’s character and quality proved decisive.
